I’m getting pretty impressed with myself, I’m not gonna lie. Do you ever find yourself pinning a gazillion DIY projects that you just HAVE to try and then well… let’s be real, it’s been a while since pinterest was first opened up and I’d take a wild guess that, like me, you haven’t done even one or two of those projects yet! That’s where I’ve been until recently. I’m on a tight budget, so my projects are moving slowly, but I’m impressed that I’ve done any of them! I did my {Date Night Jar} and now I’m actually in the process of working on this lovely project!
That is of course going to be a Mississippi. I started on this little project last night with two sweet friends. Mine is that beautiful turquoise you see, Brooke chose a yellow like sunshine, and Jamey went with Maroon (our school color).
I’m getting on this huge kick of wanting to do tons of DIY and wanting to bake. For Christmas I’m asking for a lot of baking goods! At the moment, since I have a limited budget, I’m trying to find inexpensive projects. I’m also going to be in the works for my very first advent calendar this week. Another DIY project! I’m telling you, I’m super impressed with myself because I’m actually doing something with these boards I have on pinterest! It really gives you a feeling of accomplishment!
There will of course be some step-by-steps posted on the blog once my projects are done! Hope you lovely wonderful people are having an exceptional Wednesday, we’re half-way to Friday! I know you’re excited too!
How many pinterest projects have you actually done?
Good Morning fabulous bloggers!! I’m not gonna lie, I’ve felt MIA… it was Thanksgiving and I was in Atlanta and I had a lot of post ideas in my planner, but just didn’t find the time to handle it, so I’m back, yay! Figured I’d just go through some points of what went on over Thanksgiving and what I have planned for the week!
{Thanksgiving Meal}
I had TWO thanksgivings this year. Thursday we had it at my Nanny’s (my dad’s side) and then Saturday we had it at my Aunts (mom’s side) and my grandparents came down from Kentucky. It was a week filled with LOTS of family and LOTS of food.
{My fat pants}
Yeah, after that many meals, I feel like I need some of those. By the end of the week, I felt like I gained 20 pounds when I put on my jeans! This week will be devoted to running and eating healthy so I can feel like a normal human being again and not a massive cow!
{Running}
Despite all the food I ate, I was able to get in 2 runs while out of town, I would have liked more, but it was a busy busy week. On Thanksgiving Day, my parents, sisters, me, aunt, and 2nd cousin all went on a run/walk. My aunt took us to this beautiful area and with fall in the air, the leaves were beautiful and I took the most amazing pictures! You can see those down in my instagram pics from the week.
{Work}
I meant to do a few hours of work while I was out of town, I should have known better, so this week I’ll be working on overdrive and after the break, I feel like I have a lot of catching up to do.
{Shopping}
My sisters and I found some really great finds in ATL. We didn’t do high-end shopping or anything, but we found this amazing place called clothes-mentor and they have very nice stuff for reasonable prices, it’s like a higher-end consignment shop. We loved it! I found a few great pieces, I tried to limit myself, my sister on the other hand found TONS of stuff!
