Friday Letters is back! yay!

Dear Friday, it’s nice that you’re the only day I’m back to work this week.  I’ll be off for 2 days, then we are back in full swing on Monday!  Dear Nick, this picture describes you perfectly, always picture bombing and being silly! I love it!  Dear sissy, this picture also describes you perfectly, enjoying some hot chocolate with me by the fire and taking wonderful pictures together, it’s what we do!  Now if only we could Tiff in there too!  Dear Parents, y’all have always strived to give us the best! I know times have been tough frequently since you’ve had children, but I’m so glad that God has blessed y’all with successes that you were able to provide a great Christmas and not have to suffer financially like you have time and time again for us.  Y’all went above and beyond this Christmas and I’m so thankful to have y’all for parents!  Dear Volunteer Starkville, why must you leave this office space for a new one? What will I do without our daily encounters?  Dear coffee this morning, you really weren’t that great.  I got some nastiness for creamer this go-around. YUCK! I don’t know about y’all, but White Chocolate Raspberry does not set well with me!  Dear MS Blues Half-Marathon, I won’t be running you fully tomorrow, but I’ll be using your mile marker resources to run my 6 miles for training while everyone else is trying to complete you!  Good luck runners!  Dear training, you’ve been going surprisingly well, except I skipped a day yesterday, which I was not pleased with myself for, but sometimes you just have to move forward and not let it bother you!  Dear Patty, my time spent with you over the break was wonderful, I couldn’t ask for a better friend, role model, or sister in Christ, you are seriously the best!  Dear Makayla, I hate that we didn’t get together over the holiday season, that is SO not like us, I spent a lot of quality time with the fam though and I will be in touch soon about us getting some quality time in too!  I love you!  Dear bloggers, I’m 13 away from 100 and I can’t wait for the time to come to make some much needed changes to the blog, I value each of you and thank you for your love and support in my life.  Even though we’ve never met, you’re still true friends and I appreciate that!

Happy Friday Loves!

My Christmas Gifts

I told y’all that I’d share what I got for Christmas.  This isn’t everything, and the pictures are a little blurry, I apologize.  I still feel really new to some of this blogging stuff, but I compiled a list of some things I got for Christmas.  Our Christmas was extra special this year and I got everything I wanted and I’ve already been using a lot of it.  I didn’t include some of the smaller things that came in our Christmas basket (that’s right, we do baskets, not stockings, so what?) but I got some Holiday Coffee flavor packets, some recipe book markers, candy, socks, tea, and some other great things!  I also just realized that I forgot to include my tech-gloves that my sis got me.  They are from modcloth and are the ones you can use your iphone with! I love them.

1. two adorably cute shirts.  This is one that I wore on New Years Eve (Sorry the picture quality is way tacky!) 2 & 3. From the BF, who is wonderful! A 26″ flat screen tv, a blu ray dvd player, and a stand to put it on 4. Baking cookbooks 5. Kitchenaid Food Processor 6. Maybooks planner (no, that’s not the one I actually got, I took it off their website) 7. V is for Vengeance 8. Tangled DVD from the BF 9. Baking supplies: icing kits and bags, baking sheets and spatulas 10. Asics running pants

Special thanks to the parents, sisters, and BF for my wonderful gifts!  I loved everything I got this year and I’ve already been using most of it.  I can’t wait to get back home and put it all to great use and begin making special memories for 2013!  What a blessing!

Happy New Year with Resolutions

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Time to discuss New Year’s Resolutions!  I think their important, other people don’t, but for me, it’s like having a blank page to write a new chapter on and there is so much that can happen in this next year.  We are able to write most of our own story, but there is also so much we can’t control, so why not control what you can and make goals for yourself to better yourself in the best way possible?!
Read 30 New books
Write a memory and put it in a jar every day
(but let’s be realistic, if I do at least 3 times a week, I’ll be happy!)
Complete 2 Half-Marathon’s
(I’m training for 1 in February right now!)
Complete 1 Triathlon
(I’m pretty sure this was in the plan this past year, but I was so nervous, I can’t let that happen again!)
Eat Vegan 3 days out of the week
Complete my 26 Acts of Kindness in memory of the Sandy Hook Shooting
What are your New Year’s Resolutions?
How do you think you did in 2012?
Do you think 2013 will be better?
