Happy Thursday! Boy am I glad this week is almost over!
It’s OK…
… to be unbelievably ready for the weekend, because hey, that’s what they’re here for!
… to contemplate buying an EC planner anyways, even though you got a May Books for Christmas
(I love my Maybooks planner, but with all my use the cover is already starting to fade which really stinks, so I’m considering buying my legit EC planner for appt’s and homework and using my small perfectly sized Maybooks planner for menu planning each week and fitness scheduling)
… to wish you had an extra hour every morning just to sip on coffee while watching your favorite tv show
… to miss your Disney roommates so much!
… to miss a few days in training (ok, maybe that’s not quite ok)
… to need 12 more followers to hit 100, then I have a lovely surprise for all of YOU!
… to be excited that I was just asked this week to do my very first company review post. I’ll get to try it out and then share it with all of you!
… to have your muggy, rainy, dreary weekend (that you’re actually very excited about) set aside to work on the above mentioned review, cleaning, relaxing, and recharging!
… to feel like you already need a vacation when you just got back from the holidays
… to spend quality time with friends watching Grey’s! Can’t wait for tonight!
… to really not want to do my 3 mile run today, but know that I really need too, and hope that I continue to talk myself into it so that I eventually complete it tonight.
… to wish I devoted more time to this precious blog, I’ll keep working on that!
Hope ya’ll are having a really great Thursday and are excited about the weekend like I am!
I just “ran” into something fabulous! (I tried to be witty there, ya see? lol) Seriously though, something amazing! My opinions on this are NOT being compensated, this is just me sharing something great I found with some great friends I love!
A co-worker/friend told me about a great site called Road Runner’s Sports! You have to become a member and the cost is usually $24.99/mo. She said that during the holidays though, they sometimes have really great deals on membership. She also mentioned the perks of becoming a member! The second I had a chance, I ran to a computer and looked in to it. I bought my first year membership and my new pair of running shoes (that I was in dire need of!) just a few short minutes ago! And all for the grand total of $63 and some change!
I know I follow a lot of runner blogs and I have some runner’s who follow me, so I thought I’d share this with you. Now, this is my first time trying it out, so I don’t have a lot of information to go on, but it seems like a great opportunity so if you’re wanting to get in to running or you already are, then go check this out, it may be great for you!
And right now… their membership for the year is $1.99!!!!!
Click {HERE} to go to their site and check them out. Below I have the benefits and another code that I used to get an extra 10% off my shoes I bought today. I got the code from {Retail Me Not}
1. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and see where it says “Join the club- only $1.99” I’m not sure how long the price will be that low!
2. Click that and add it to your cart, then if you want to go ahead and purchase a pair of shoes, you can start looking.
3. They have a great way to narrow down the type of shoe you want, and the great thing is, is that it’s not just shoes, you also have apparel and gear and nutrition!
Perks of being a member:
– 90 day test run, you can try them out, then ship them back if you don’t like them
– 10% off everything on their site
– free shipping (I think I saved $16.99 on shipping alone with my order today!)
– They ship your items within 2 hours of receiving your order, unless it’s a pre-order thing like mine in which it won’t ship until a later date
– first dibs on all their sale and clearance items!
I haven’t checked out anything but the shoes yet, but I think this may be my new place for all my fitness gear! I was so excited when I found out about this, I just had to share it!
The code that got me an extra 10% off today: CX12Z058
I hope that code will work for you too, if not, go check out {Retail Me Not} and see if you can find the code!
Hello bright and sunny Monday! It’s very sunny here today, which is nice. The weather is acting lovely. I have a feeling that Monday’s this semester are going to be great. Monday’s are usually the hardest day of the week to get through, besides Friday’s when you’re just starring at the clock not moving all day waiting for it to end. Luckily for me, my day will be pretty busy and that will help it go by faster, then the rest of the week will just slide on by.
I had a really great weekend! I’ve been continuing on my Half-Marathon training. I ended up doing 8 miles on Saturday when I was only suppose to do 6, so I was really sore, but I relaxed yesterday and healed up pretty well. Today I have cross-training and then a few 3 mile runs this week, nothing too bad.
I did all my grocery shopping yesterday and menu planning, so I don’t plan on eating out at all! Tonight we are having angel hair pasta and salmon, it’s a Sandra Lee recipe!
I’m considering getting into photography! I really want the pictures on my blog to be amazing and so I’m about to figure out what I need to do to learn. Any suggestions would be great!
As I mentioned in my {New Year’s Resolution Post}, I have a goal to read 30 new books this year. I already have a list starting in my head and thought I’d get them written out via blog style!
V is for Vengence
The Progress Principle (It’s for work, but will count)
Rising Tide (for work again)
Crazy Love
Forgotten God
Blog, Inc.
Twilight
New Moon
Eclipse
Breaking Dawn
Catching Fire
Mocking Jay
Ok bloggy friends, help me complete my list! What books have you been reading lately that you would recommend? I’m open for anything, really!
