It’s OK…. (all things graduation)
 
… to be counting down the days to graduation
 
… to be planning tons of girly fun for me and my cousin while she’s in town for graduation
 
… to be worried that the school left me out of the loop on something I should have done for graduation
 
… to feel the pressure to get some announcements made to send out to family
 
… to hope that these announcements will maybe get me a little more cash and a few presents
 
… to think about strangling my teacher because I’m a little nervous about a single class that could keep me from graduating
 
… to be thankful that my undergrad years are almost officially behind me and I have so much more to look forward too
 
… to be super excited about my opportunity with Disney World after graduation, even though I will seriously miss my parents, my sisters, my dear friends, and my boyfriend
 
… to consider buying myself a graduation present (clothes maybe? I just cleaned out my closet 🙁 and It’s somewhat bare)
 
… to be nervous about walking in front of thousands of people at graduation (cross my fingers not to fall!)

Back in Business!

Ok guys,  It’s been a rough couple of weeks with training… in case you were wondering, my half-marathon is in less than two months and I’ve been out of it for a couple of weeks due to my shin splints! 


I’m proud to announce that we are back in business, I went on my first real run today and did 3 miles and didn’t have any severe pain.  Every once in a while I felt a small pain in a very specific spot, but it went away.  I got back home and stretched and iced it real good, so hopefully I can get back to training.  I’m in crunch mode because I have ONE WEEK until my Turkey Day 8k!  It has been such a great day because I could not even tell you what running felt like without pain because I was doing it for so long… and I’m here to say, IT FEELS AMAZING!!!! 


I’m excited about a couple of swaps I’m doing this season — Right now I’m signed up for a christmas gift swap and a christmas ornament swap! I’m excited, that should be fun!! Can’t wait to decide what I’m doing for my swap partners!

P.S. I fixed my camera, so TONS of pictures coming for this holiday season and I’m pumped about that!!! Be prepared for picture overload!!

Who doesn’t love this sight?  I mean seriously, Disney World!  I am so excited to share this amazing opportunity with you guys!! I got accepted to work at Disney World Jan-Aug and I am so pumped!  I’m hoping to find a lot of diversity and new experiences.  I’ll be blogging about everything that is going on, people I meet, fun things I get to do and try!  Please keep in touch while I’m there and ASK QUESTIONS!

If you ever make your way to Orlando, please give me a shout-out, I’d love the chance to meet a blogger friend and (psst.. I get discounts!)  So, over the next year or so, I’ll be blogging about the usual things, but mostly about Disney now! I’m going to try to run some races while there (I mean, Disney Princess Marathon?, sign me up!)
