I hopped on board with this fun link-up hosted by Meg & Amanda!
Each month, they’ll reveal some secret ingredients for you to make a recipe out of. I’m not sure if I’m following the rules because I don’t technically have a recipe…
Watch my video… or don’t… whatever. Seriously though… it’d make my day if you watched it! I’ll do a little small re-cap below the video just in case.
Subscribe to my channel… seriously, do! You can click the icon below.
You won’t be sorry!! I’ll be using You Tube to document the majority of my Disney Wine & Dine Half-Marathon trip in a few weeks as well as giving tutorials for the holidays! Don’t miss out, mmkay!?
Like the video? Give it a thumbs up!
Here’s the rundown of what happened in my Kitchen this week.
1. I bought necessary ingredients: apples, cinnamon, cream cheese, and butterscotch (err.. caramels?)
2. I concocted a simple idea in my head for the recipe
{Here is the recipe part}
3. I saute’d the apples in butter, cinnamon, and sugar (didn’t measure it)
4. I flattened cinnamon rolls, topped them with the apple mixture, added some cream cheese, topped that with another flattened cinnamon roll.
5. Baked according to cinnamon roll directions, although I thought they were browning quicker, so I took them out a little earlier than package directed.
6. Dolloped cool whip on top and garnished with my butterscotch candy.
{End of very calculated recipe}
7. Had some nice people taste test
8. It got a 1.5 thumb up and a .5 thumb up.
9. The End.
If you watched it, I applaud and thank you!!
Working with these videos has been time consuming and frustrating, but fun!! I was excited to use the Kitchen Mix up to experiment with my camera and tripods as well as with video editing. You can expect to see a lot more videos around here as well as on You Tube. Some of my videos on You Tube will not be showing up on the blog, so be sure to subscribe to my channel! Also, don’t be mean because I’m still learning (with editing and filming and transitioning from one clip to the next), yes… you can laugh at home in front of your computer screen, it’s bound to happen… but um, keep it to yourself! 🙂 Thanks friends!
Thank you Meg and Amanda for creating such a fun and exciting link-up!

You seriously get extra credit for making a video! Such a brilliant idea! I watched it Tuesday and then made Josh watch it last night because I still couldn’t get over how great it was 🙂 I also loved the taste test!
Oh my gosh, girl! You sure know how to vlog!! I loved it so much and I feel like that recipe is definitely something I’d love… even if you only gave it a half thumb up lol.

I also have an irrational fear of opening cinnamon rolls. It is the scariest thing to me! This was a great video!
