Sadly, I’m not feeling my best today. I’m not sure what’s up, but I feel just kind of bleh…. low energy, minor headache, can’t concentrate… that type of feeling. I’m still going to try to get some work done tonight for the blog though because this poor things has been a-suffering since I got this job. I’m also going to pick up some Arbonne products I purchased, so I can’t wait to share those this month!
This past weekend was wonderful. I headed out for Starkville on Friday after I got off work. I went straight to Lacy and Noelle’s because we had planned the most spectacular girls night. #Itwasthebestnightever Some of you may think that a girls night should involve going out with just the girls, enjoying a nice dinner and some drinks while being dressed all fancy. If you do happen to think that, then you haven’t encountered me and the most stellar of girls nights! Our girls night consisted of a homemade veggie pizza, cheese sticks and marinara, strawberry cupcakes with cream cheese icing, and mulan. I hadn’t seen these girls in way too long and it was quite obvious that we missed each other. I did instagram these pics, sorry about that, I try to bring different pictures to different social media outlets, but I didn’t really have much else to go on here. Also, if you saw my instagram, did you see my hashtag and did it make sense? It was a HIMYM reference and I kept singing that throughout the evening. Lacy and Noelle are somewhat lame and don’t watch nor like HIMYM so they didn’t find it as funny as I did. If you know what I’m talking about, then I greatly appreciate you and the fact that you like HIMYM. Also, if you’re now singing #Itwasthebestnightever in your head, I assume you’re also singing #catsittinforlilysmom and #catfuneral because I did that too.
On Saturday, I met up with Nick and we went to a wedding in Starkville. The wedding turned out to be more fun than I expected considering I hardly knew anyone except the Bride. Luckily, Nick had some friends mingled in the crowd, so we conversed with a handful of people. Eventually though, I got the dancing bug and that’s what kept us there the majority of the night. I didn’t get any of my own pictures, but they had a photobooth and Nick and I got a strip of pictures. I put one of the strips in my office today, so my office is starting to feel like my own!
On Sunday, Nick and I ran some errands around town. I needed a new headlight, so we picked that up and Nick fixed that for me. {Seriously don’t know what I would do without his expertise!} We went to Lowe’s, Tuesday Morning, and Walmart. Because I got the new headlight, Nick really wanted me to drive part of my trip home in the dark so I could use them and see how they worked and if I liked them. Because of that, I decided to stay for dinner, so we ate dinner on campus with his meal plan which saves us a lot of eating out money. As always, it wasn’t super exciting to leave, but I had another great weekend in the books. I’m so incredibly thankful for the people in my life and the blessings they bring!
Since I wasn’t feeling well today at work, it made the day seem a lot longer than usual…. I’m glad to finally be home where I can get rested up while catching up on things here and there. I feel completely bogged with ideas for a thousand different things, I need to get pen to paper and jot all this stuff down. I still haven’t caught up on my bloglovin feed either… a majority of my night will be spent doing that as well.
How was your weekend?
What do you usually do for girls night?

I think that sounds like a perfect girls night! I am all about staying in with good food and movies!

I haven’t had a girls night in forever! Most of my girlfriends are in Atlanta.
I love Disney movies! One of my favorites is Finding Nemo, and I like any of the princess movies. My youngest nephew is currently obsessed with Monsters Inc and University but I haven’t seen them yet.

Wedding!! I haven’t been to a wedding in forever but that sounds like fun. And you need those “errand days” every once in a while to catch up on everything that needs buying or doing. In fact, I need an errand day! 😛

So glad you had a good weekend 🙂 My weekend was sleeping as I had a horrible cough & cold. I did go bowling on Friday night though so I managed that.
Girls Night is once a month and themed. I need to post about them more.
I’m currently scrapbooking Disney as I watch Brave. Next up is Little Mermaid and Monsters University 🙂

I can only hope you make a photo montage and then send it to everyone you’ve ever met.
