One thing I have grown to appreciate and love is a Green Thumb. Why?? Because I surely don’t have one! I’ve tried to grow some plants and fruits in window plants that I assume are suppose to be easy… and they have died or just never even grew. I love visiting my parents house mainly because of the backyard garden they built this past year! I enjoy taking my morning coffee out there and walking around looking at the fruits and vegetables and watching the goldfish in the pond. My Nanny had a wonderful Green Thumb! Her garden was considered a national wildlife refuge and I’m almost positive that my dad got that niche handed down to him because he has built a wonderful garden!

Are you blessed with a Green Thumb? What have you had growing in your garden this summer?
Angela says
I think I have a gray thumb, but I’ve managed to keep our tomatoes (well, 5 out of 6) alive!

I am definitely not blessed with a green thumb, but your garden looks pretty darn great to me 🙂

Beautiful! I don’t do any gardening myself (mainly because we rent our property instead of owning), but I might try growing herbs sometime.

I always pretend I have a green thumb, but I definitely do not. I killed a cactus once. I love fresh cilantro so I am attempting to grow a cilantro plant. I was slowly killing it, but when I moved most recently I forgot it in my car and have left it there ever since. Inexplicably, it has come back to life so I just leave that and give it a few squirts of water every few days.
