Car on Fire {Jan-mini-vid}

Happy Wednesday, sweet friends!

Yesterday I went to the Grand Opening for Whole Foods Market in Jackson.  Thankfully, Nick’s sister text me the night before and asked if I was going.  We ended up doing lunch together.  We both have gone through a similar situation lately, so we were able to bond over that and it gave us plenty to chat about.  It’s nice when I get to spend time with his family individually because I feel like I can connect with them on a more personal level.  I learn about their specific personality and traits without taking into account their collective personalities when we’re all together.  We perused the samples and enjoyed lunch from the buffet.  We both ventured out to try new things and overall we were extremely pleased.  We also left with dessert and drinks in hand.  I went for a vegan chocolate chip cookie and boy was it amazing!  The rest of the day was spent working – whether that was in an office or at home on the blog.

It’s been quite some time since I’ve done a video.  In fact, I still have to work on my Disney Wine & Dine Re-cap.  I promise, that will be completed at some point!  Hopefully before the next Wine & Dine race. haha

I’m linking up with Mama Kat and sharing my January mini-video.  I’ve never done a mini-video, so it was interesting to think through what I could film throughout the month.  I’d definitely like to get better at these.  Also, because I was out of practice, it took a little more effort to edit.  Not to “spoil” it, but towards the end of the video, I have some footage of a car on fire in the middle of the road, unfortunately it’s not that great, so I wanted to make sure you understood exactly what I was trying to film.  We were pretty amazed at what was going on.  I personally, had never seen a car on fire in the middle of the road, so I was in awe.
