Some of you may remember my post called Elevator Diaries [Part 1]. I posted it a while back, so let me re-cap. I work in a residence hall on campus, so you can imagine that I run into some pretty interesting things said and done by freshman students on the elevator to and from my office each day. I started that post in hopes of having a ton of interesting topics to discuss, well now we are only on to the Elevator Diaries [part 2]. I hear interesting things, for sure, but nothing all that blog worthy. That’s alright though, because this one is a WONDERFUL story and a thought provoking topic!
So, the other day, I arrived to work about 15 minutes late. Our parking lot has a small ‘staff’ section and a large ‘resident only’ section, so when you’re late, you’re REALLY late, because you’re now cruising around for a parking spot all over campus!

I completely agree with her! It will give you jewels in your crown!
BTW: I’m a new follower! Pretty sure you are Whitney Dukes Pinson’s friend and I love that girl! I’ve heard her talk about you and I’m so excited I found your blog!

That was so nice of you to do, and of her to say! Sometimes it’s the littlest things that make such a big impact on us and others!

How nice! I remember back in college the cheapest parking area on campus was called Pig Lot. Granted its been built up since I graduated in 04 but it was the lot next to the convention center that you either would walk to your dorm or catch the shuttle for. Well on the weekend if you were a resident you could move your car to a closer spot that normally would sell for 2x the price of Pig Lot. Let me tell you if you got one of those you were in heaven!

Love this! Little things are sometimes the only things that we can do for others. All those little things add up to something VERY BIG and it is important to remember that!

I agree! Little things can matter a lot. It was very nice of you to do that.

Love! I would have been floored to hear a complete stranger say that, but it gives me hope in the world that not all people are jerks. Thanks for sharing lady!
