I love pinterest, at this point, I’m not sure who doesn’t, right??

I have recently been pinning SO much in the way of fashion, needless to say, I’m dreaming of a new wardrobe at the moment, so here we go!
{Before hand, I apologize for the captions running into the picture outline, I don’t know why it’s doing that nor how to fix it!}

Totally going to be my summer go-to outfit this year!

Getting my blog out there!

I’ve been seeing everyone basically re-writing their about me page as a post, and yes.. I’ve been a little confused, until I realized that Neely was doing a link-up to help everyone get their blogs out there!  So I’m joining in, obviously!

Welcome, I’m Heather!

I’m from the wonderful state of Mississippi (I realize most people don’t see it that way!)
I just moved to Orlando, FL to work at Disney World until August, it’s a super fabulous job, and a lot of fun!

I just graduated from Mississippi State University where I got my degree in Marketing, I absolutely loved going to Mississippi State and my Marketing professors were amazing!!  My younger sister is there right now, sadly by herself, but my youngest sister will be joining her up there in August!

A few of my hobbies right now: running, tennis, learning how to swim, going to Disney Parks (on my off days for FREE!), organizing, pinning, planning wonderful trips while I’m still young, and… Grey’s Anatomy!

I would have to say the most important thing for me right now as far as interests goes is running.  It’s become a huge part of my life.  I started running about 3 or 4 years ago and fell back out of it, but over the last year, I’ve gotten back into it big time!  Well, big time for me… I’m not super competitive and I’m not super fast lol, but I do it frequently.  I just ran my FIRST Half-Marathon January 7th called the Mississippi Blues (somewhat like a rock n’ roll marathon due to the blues music played throughout the race) and I am signed up for my SECOND Half-Marathon- the Disney Princess Half Marathon!  Running for me is a good way to stay healthy and in shape, I’m not psycho about it, it’s not my entire life and never will be, but it’s something I enjoy doing.

Please ignore the fact that my shorts say Ole Miss! This was my FIRST race ever!

I have a wonderful family back home who I miss a lot!  My dad who owns a small computer business, my mom who is the children’s minister at a church, my two younger sisters who I’ve been lucky enough to become close to over the past few years since I started college, a little pom named Cappie who is our families life pretty much, we adore him with every bone in our body, and 6 cute little kitty cats who usually like to snuggle and be loved on (which is hard to find in a cat sometimes which is sadly why I find most people are not cat people!)

BLOGGING, the big reason I’m here…

I started blogging back in October or so I believe… I had had a few little stints of trying that failed, but I finally kept up with it starting in October.  Why? Well, honestly, I’m not really sure, I think I was bored at work one day and I started reading up on blogs (mainly because it seems like the best business decision, me being a marketing major, to start your advertising online (for free!) by creating a blog)  I then decided after reading some really cute and fun ones, that this seemed like something I’d like to pursue again and boy was I RIGHT! I now absolutely love it and sometimes I’m tempted to write TWO posts in one day because I just have so much I want to share!  I try to expand my blogging, but sometimes it’s hard.  I would like to blog about running, Disney, cooking, friends, and various other things, but take cooking for example, I rarely ever put up recipes because I rarely ever cook for one person in my apartment!  Although, I am planning a pasta recipe for the night before my race that I’ll be posting up, so stay tuned for that!

If there is anything else you want to know, please feel free to ask and be sure to check out my blog!

This needs to be my motivation right now! I have a confession… IT HAS BEEN A STRUGGLE!  I know I’m not the only one out there who feels this way, surely… right?!  With my work schedule (which isn’t much different than an 8-5er), the only thing I have time to do in a given day is wake up early, go to work, get home, run, eat dinner, go back to bed, which doesn’t provide me time to clean my room, wash clothes, make any balanced meals, go grocery shopping, hang out with friends… the list could go on and on!  Part of the reason I waste so much time also is because I have to ride the dang shuttle to and from work every day which sheds about 2 hours of my day away! (yikes!)  So I’ve decided that in order to have the time to workout, I’m going to have to do in the A.M. because after being on my feet for literally 8 hours straight during the day, working out has become the LAST thing I want to do!  At the same time, I can’t get myself out of bed because it’s still dark outside… I feel like I’m in a pickle!  So I saw this on pinterest, and it gave me a little boost… I may have to make my own sweatshirt, or buy one and wear to bed every night haha!

I also want to put a spotlight on all you fabulous moms out there!  Like I said, this is about an average 8-5 schedule, which I should get use to because that’s what I’ll have after I leave Disney!  I just don’t know how you do it, I want to commend you, for being able to wake up early, get a fresh start to the day, do everything that I’m trying to do as a single, childless woman, and probably doing it better than me while chasing around a few children in the process and running them to all their school activities and errands! I just want to thank all the mom’s out there for what they do, because geez, it takes a lot!!

Have a wonderful Sunday friends!
