It’s OK Thursday!

Its Ok Thursdays
It’s OK…

… that I used the tutorial from Wifessionals here and created my own hovering pinterest button for all of my pictures on the blog!! Go “hover” over a picture and see what you think!

… that I again failed to do my 30 second vlog!  I just didn’t think about it until this morning and it just seems too late.  Maybe I’ll make it for next week!

… to basically be on a diet of cheesenips, velveeta mac & cheese, and chocolate rice cakes because that’s what I brought to my office to snack on and I rarely leave for lunch anymore.

… to bake pink cookies for Valentines Day! 🙂

… to “favorite” something on twitter or bloglovin, but realize that I rarely go back and use it.  I should do that soon!

… to miss Disney!  I should totally go on vacay there soon!

… to be curious about where I’m going to be come August (yikes!)

… to think that roses are pretty cliche for Valentine’s Day!

… to think that chocolate could NEVER be cliche because it goes straight my belly and it’s delicious!

… to be blessed by amazing friends and family that love and care about me!

… to be really nervous about my very first conference presentation!  I’m really not sure what to expect!

… to wish all of you fabulous bloggers a wonderful Valentines Day!

… to go to an Alabama blogger meet up, because I’m not having one in Mississippi!  Anyone else wanna join me?!

Happy Thursday and Happy Valentine’s Day!  Remember those you love or have loved!

Sending Love!

It’s no secret that I seriously miss my roommates from Disney.  We group message all throughout the day and I knew that I wanted to do something special for them to show them how much I love them.  It’s really difficult for us to handle the long-distance.  I’m here in Mississippi, I have one in Texas, 2 in California, and 1 in New Jersey.

We have a lot of things in common, a lot of the same obsessions: wine, Harry Potter, chinese, chocolate, Mumford and Sons, and… coffee!  I decided to make coffee mugs for each of us so that no matter where we are or what we are doing, it’s as if we are sharing a cup of coffee each morning!  I included the mugs with a sweet note and some mini-reeses!

What you need:
Black Sharpie
Red Sharpie
2 Coffee Mugs
350 degree Oven

This was seriously one of the EASIEST DIY projects I’ve ever done!

1. Practice drawing the states you need to draw and then draw them.
2. Draw a red heart where you want it in the state.
3. Use the bee-line to make a whimsical pattern to the other person’s heart.
4. If you want, make a little message (Miss You!)
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
6. Take a picture of them together so you can send that along to your friend.

My roommates absolutely LOVED this, here are some of the texts I received when they arrived

I was so pleased with the outcome and I love that it made their day!  I miss my roommates so much, but it’s a great feeling to know that I have sisters for life!  I love you girls!
