Last Days: Living Life to the Fullest

Warning: You will be crying by the end of this post.
Over the past few months, I’ve been doing my best to “live life to the fullest”.  One example of that is the triathlon that I just completed last weekend.  I’m working on re-inventing myself, allowing God to move in me, and focusing on relationships that I feel make me a better person and build me up in positive way!  This isn’t “easy” for me, necessarily.  I’m detail oriented, I like plans, I like a spotless home, I’m a nervous person, a worrier, I’m not usually spontaneous, although I wish I was.
I’ve been doing my best to live by the motto of “live life to the fullest” and “what if these were your last days?”.  No, I don’t have terminal cancer, but I never know what life may throw at me and I could potentially end up in a situation where I’m only left with a few days.
Listen to this amazing story, I can assure you, you’ll be crying within a few minutes, but it’s totally and completely worth it!  Keep this family in your prayers as they are mourning the loss of a son, brother, best friend, boyfriend, and much more.  A prayer for myself is that I can live my life the way this kid did and make the most of every moment with my family, my friends, the people I love while also experiencing things that I know will bring me and those around me happiness and joy!

You and I sound very similar. I am a total worrier and a mountain out of a mole hill maker. I like plans and backup plans for the plans… if nothing else I have a plan C. I like to have my hands in everything that is going on and my OCD keeps me up at night. I recently was faced with the exciting task of creating Brooke 2.0 . I’m not entering a triathlon anytime soon, but I have signed up for my first 5k. I’ve decided to laugh more, plan less… and embrace everyday. I look forward to following your journey.

I caught that video floating around on FB, and posted it myself and everyone fell in love with it. How can you not? It really does show to live life to the fullest and I hope I’m doing my best at it 🙂
