Just sit and talk to me

This is the point in blogging where I wish I didn’t have to write anything at all.  I wish that we were all in the same room, with a bunch of couches, and the largest pot of coffee available.  The truth is, I’m way too emotionally and physically exhausted to even write out a regular blog post.  I don’t care about sharing what happened over my Thanksgiving, I’m sure I’ll get to that eventually, but what I really want to do is just sit.  Sit and drink coffee.  Sit and listen to everything y’all have to say about your past week.  I didn’t even open my laptop this past week to read blog posts or to write my own.  Any post you saw was a scheduled post.  So what I’m trying to say, is today… I’d much rather prefer that you talk to me.

Leave a comment, tell me what happened to you over the Thanksgiving holidays.  Where did you go?  What did you do?  What favorite food did you eat?  Share a post you wrote that you think I’d enjoy or that you just enjoyed writing.  I’d like to spend the day hearing from everyone else, but myself!

So share away my friends – I hope you’re having a wonderful Monday, even though you’re headed back to normal life.

p.s. The winner of my GoPicnic giveaway, is none other that my sweet blog friend, MEG!  You should find an e-mail soon, my friend!

Emotionally and physically exhausted? I hope everything is ok 🙂

I ate lots of casseroles, turkey and lasagna, had one too many pieces of cherry pie and then shopped my heart out with my mom. When I returned home Friday afternoon after shopping, I did not leave the house again until I had to go to the grocery store yesterday! And that was my weekend!

Soooo excited about GoPicnic – like soooo excited. I looked it up online, and saw the closest places they have them around here are the airport (but INSIDE security – booo) and the other side of the state… 2 hours away – stupid CT! There’s another reason to move South!

My Thanksgiving was great – tons of time with family and we always celebrate Mike’s goddaughter’s birthday with Thanksgiving. I can’t believe she’s 6 now!

    Here’s my weekend recap post – http://myborrowedheaven.blogspot.com/2013/12/its-looking-and-feeling-like-christmas.html

The only thing that’s not in there are the 3425789345 hours I spent cleaning yesterday – the house is prepped and ready for Christmas decorations!!

I had a glorious few days off. Turkey Day we slept in til 11 (that’s rare) then got ready to go to my parents. Spent the day there, Keith drank too much wine, then we did go out to see some deals that night. Friday hit up Kohls as I forgot my discounts the night before then I had girls night with a dip theme. Then Saturday we went out to date night at a new restaurant and Sunday was setting up Christmas while catching up on DVR and the new Hallmark movie last night.

Very relaxing – if you need someone to talk to, I’m waiting for a delivery and I’m available. Chin up 🙂
