I should turn random into a series

All I seem to have on my brain are small tiny thoughts that couldn’t possibly amount to a real post, so you’re about to read another episode of my random thoughts, but hey, this usually turns out to be pretty popular, so here ya go!  Also, I’m running out of interesting (were they ever really that interesting?) titles for posts like these – hence, why I should probably just turn this type of post into a series because it happens so dang often.  Let’s be honest though…. I probably won’t!

I haven’t vlogged in a while.  It almost  feels foreign again… I’m kind of nervous about getting back into it.  I’ve been documenting some interesting things throughout the month {car on fire peak your interest?} and I’m going to try my hand at one of the ‘mini videos’ that people do at the end of the month.  I have some other videos I’d like to work on too, but the point is… I’m really nervous, I haven’t truly filmed a video in over a month.  I still need to transfer all of my stuff to the external hard drive I have so my computer will work faster when I edit videos.

Nick wants me to read “How to Grow Fresh Air”.  He’s been pretty obsessed with plants and how they affect the air.  It’s truly something I appreciate and I’m excited about diving into this book.  Have you read it before?  Do you find plants to be important in your office/work space?

I just started watching Scandal.  I continue to hear hype about it and finally gave in.  I just didn’t want it to be a show about people cheating all the time.  Watching things like that really bother me.  I’ve seen so many respectable Christian women bloggers talk about Scandal though and so I thought I’d give it a try.  I really hope it doesn’t disappoint and although I understand there will be some cheating throughout the show, I sincerely hope it’s not the basis of the show and as far as I can tell, it’s not.  It’s a pretty interesting concept actually.

I really hope things start to make sense at my new job.  There are so many numbers and options and big words and sometimes I feel like a chicken with my head cut off, but I continue to be reassured that it gets better and I’ll eventually get it.
I’m thinking about “selling” Arbonne products.  I’m not a sales person, by any means!  I kind of suck at it.  I really want to “sell” it though because of the discount I’d personally get.  I truly love these products and I know I want to buy more than I probably should, so why not get the greatest discount? Right?  Right.

I tried some vegetarian chili last night.  It was interesting.  I poured boiling water into a bag.  It created the perfect serving size.  I poured it over some chips.  It’s what was for dinner.  I wasn’t extremely prepared for it because if I was I would have had sour cream, shredded cheese and fritos.  Overall though, thumbs up!

I’m about to reach the 2 year anniversary of meeting my roommates from Disney.  I miss those girls dearly!  We don’t talk as often as we used to, but I’m pretty sure I think about them every single day.  I have no doubt that we’ll pick right back up where we left off next time I see them.  I’m sending them all a sweet card this week telling them Happy Anniversary and how thankful I am to have them in my life!
Have a great Wednesday!

ps. Thanks to everyone who filled out the blogger survey from yesterday.  Y’all are fabulous!

I love and miss you, sister! I had no idea you blogged so regularly, so I’m having fun going back and catching up on your life. I hate that I’m so out of the loop! I would looooove to see you some time soon.

I’m obsessed with Scandal. I get past the cheating by realizing how in love the president is with Olivia. And he hasn’t left his wife because he’s president. But hopefully soon he will. Their relationship is really an important part of the show, but there’s many other aspects to love as well!

Have you tried the Morning Star meats? They are vegetarian…I am not sure about vegan. They are really great. I eat the Veggie sausage patties every morning =)

I love that photo of all y’all (said that right, right?) with Hawaiian Mickey and Minnie!!! I hope everything with work starts to make more sense – sounds confusing, but you can do it!!! I also really want to start watching Scandal, it sounds really good.

I really love Scandal. Yes, there is definitely cheating, but I find the political aspect to be the most interesting! Plus, Kerry Washington’s fashion is pretty incredible, too!

I love Scandal! It’s one of my favorite shows. I love what she does as her job and the other elements to the show. The cheating element is always there, but she KNOWS it’s wrong, if that helps you any, haha. I just try to pretend I’m not seeing that part!
