Getting Organized!

For this being my first blog post, I wanted to start off with something I know and love- ORGANIZING!  Over the past couple of weeks, my life has been pretty hectic- coordinating a 5k, planning a friends wedding shower, planning a trip to Houston, and working on a large end of the semester project for my Internet marketing class.  I’m looking to start fresh, to revitalize the way I plan, organize, and clean.  I’m going to be coordinating a camp this summer called LeaderSTATE, and I want to have my life back in order by then so I can focus.
In order to get re-organized, I’ll be using a couple of different items, websites, etc. to help me out!  The first thing I want to point out is my ErinCondren Planner!  You can purchase your own life planner at www.erincondren.com.  I have the zen gems green planner and it has everything I need- special dates calendar, month at a glance, week at a glance, binder clip to flip from month to week, a keep it together pouch, and a zipper pouch to hold my ‘call me’ cards and gift labels.
I live with my younger sister, Tiffani, and I’m not home very much because of school and work- so with her home alone most of the time and with the small amount of time I am home, our apartment gets pretty messy and well… stays messy, because I don’t have the time to clean it!  So I’m looking to use some different sites to help me with that!  First, for the quick fix- 30 minute cleaning to get it done and tidied up, I’m going to use the help of www.realsimple.com. They have a quick checklist of things I can do in a hurry!  A goal of mine though for this year, is to get into some deep cleaning as well.  On the weekend (preferably Saturday mornings when no one is around), I’d like to take some time deep cleaning my apartment, so I’m going to use www.icleaningsolutions.com and try to check off a couple of tasks a week- as my schedule permits!
A couple more things I need to work on: meal planning and working out!
Thanks for reading my first blog post, I plan on updating once a week.  Hopefully, I’ll have more interesting stuff in  here.  I’ll try to incorporate some news posts, adventurous posts, some new products/services I come across, and maybe some things on how to handle certain situations in college (all from my own experiences of course!).
Cheers!
