Home Town Hop is post-poned!

Hey y’all!! Sorry for the short notice, but March was a super hectic month for me at work and for Ashley since she was moving, so we thought it’d be good to post-pone the link-up for one more week, so it will be up next Tuesday, April 9th, which just so happens to also be my birthday! We figured that since it’s a once a month link-up, it should be alright this one time.

If you already wrote your Home Town Hop link-up post, you can save it for next Tuesday, but if you’ve already posted your post and don’t want to take it down, that’s fine, just be sure to come back next week and link-up your post from today!

We are both really excited to see a little more about the place you like to call home!

Happy Tuesday Friends!

Coffee & Conversation: Struggles

I haven’t had the chance to link up with my sweet friends Kalyn and Lauren since their first Coffee & Conversation, so I’m excited to be here today to have some coffee with you sweet friends and discuss their topic of choice!
Coffee & Conversation
Today’s Topic:
What are you currently struggling with in your life?
I think this is a wonderful question and something that I’m going to enjoy getting off my chest and talking with you fabulous bloggers about!  At the moment I’m seriously struggling with a schedule.  That may sound lame, I know there are plenty of other things in this world to struggle with, but my schedule has been weighing on my heart a lot lately!  I work an 8-5 job and sometimes have to put in extra hours to get all my work done.  I have biblestudy on Monday nights, church on Wednesday nights, and I try to have time set aside each day to spend with the Lord.  On top of that, I really want to train for a race or a triathlon, so I need time to workout and train.  It’s been a struggle for me to get out of the bed early enough to barely make it to work on time.  Then I’m at work all day, sometimes working through lunch, eating at my desk, and then go home and do some cleaning, a little blogging, cook dinner, and spend time with friends and family.
My ideal schedule:
5AM – Wake Up
5:30AM – Gym
6:30AM – Shower and get ready for work
7:15 or 7:30 – Quiet time
8AM-5PM – Work
5PM-9PM – Dinner, Blog, Clean, Family and Friends
It’s the morning that I’m struggling with!  I’m a natural born morning person, I love my mornings and I love having tons of quality time to myself in the morning to do various things (working out, not being one of them), but I have to workout in the morning in order to make sure it happens that day because the later it gets, the more likely it’s NOT happening.  So although I love waking up early and sipping my coffee while doing my quiet time and catching up on blogs, I really need to rearrange my schedule to allow for a good workout in the morning and let the other stuff happen at night!
This is a constant struggle for me and something I need to work on, but it can be so hard when I love the quiet time of being alone in the morning before my sisters get up for school to have blogging and reading my bible.  I know that God calls us to take care of his “temple” (my body) and getting in a good workout is part of that, so it’s something I must make happen and if doing that in the morning will make that happen, then that’s what I need to do!
What do you struggle with??

Giveaway!

Hi there friends, so I did a Woolzie Dry Balls Review and Giveaway a few days back!  I seriously think these Woolzie Dryer Balls are amazing and I’m offering them for FREE, and I only have two entries so far… so I started thinking about it and realized that I had made following me with GFC and with Bloglovin were both required entries.  I guess I assumed that most people were moving to Bloglovin after the big announcement and didn’t think it’s be that big of a deal, but it may have been.  Also, I know how frustrating it is when I’m forced to enter mandatory entries on a giveaway and this shouldn’t be about my satisfaction of getting followers from this giveaway and forcing people to follow me on Bloglovin (when I’m the person who wrote not too long ago about being selective on who you put in Bloglovin).

All of this to say that I’ve changed the requirements for the giveaway and I hope you choose to enter because it really is a product I believe in!  Hope y’all are having a wonderful Saturday!
