Lifeway Kefir!

I was so excited when I was asked to review Lifeway Kefir Products!  I love probiotics and the health benefits they provide!  I chose the Pomegranate flavor and let me tell y’all, it did NOT disappoint!

I enjoy having a cup with my breakfast, it gives me a great start to the day!

Influenster provided me with a coupon that gave me one for free and it true #bloggerfail style… I forgot to use the coupon, so I paid for that bad boy up there!  Luckily though, I truly do like the product and plan on using my coupon for my free one!

*This product was compliments of Influenster, but all opinions are my own!*

Home Town Hop + Some news!

Welcome to another addition of Home Town Hop!

Unfortunately, this will be our last Home Town Hop.  My sweet and amazing co-host, Ashley, has her little girl starting Kindergarten soon and her family just purchased their first house, so you can only imagine that they’re busy right now!  I’m also in the process of a lot of transition in my life as you all know and so it only felt right to put Home Town Hop to the side for now since neither of us can put our best into it!
We have thoroughly enjoyed this link-up though and have loved reading about and seeing your Home Towns!

For the last Home Town Hop, I’d love to introduce y’all to the Starkville Sportplex!

Mississippi struggles in a lot of departments and I’ll be the first to admit it.  As you all know, I absolutely LOVE this state though and believe it can improve in a lot of ways and believe that it will eventually.  I think the Starkville Sportplex is great proof that we are working to do just that!

The Starkville Sportsplex is a free public service to the community that’s open from 5AM-9PM every day.  It has a wonderful walking track and a big basketball gym.  It has classrooms upstairs for community events and classes along with raquet ball courts.

Sorry, I only went at night haha.

They offer great classes here too!
Downstairs is the full court gym and upstairs is the track and classrooms.

My sweet & awesome BFF Lacy!  She’s my running buddy!

I absolutely LOVE that something like this is offered in Mississippi, I just wish more people used it!  It’s free, so why wouldn’t you!?

I enjoyed co-hosting with my girl Ashley and having y’all link-up!
Continue sharing what your home town has offer and be proud of where you’re from!

Happy Tuesday y’all!

Gloster, MS

A few weekends ago I traveled to Gloster, MS to be a bridesmaid in a sweet friends wedding!  I traveled down a few days early so I could help out with any last minute details.  This is all just a simple re-cap with pictures, mainly for my enjoyment and so I have it documented!  I’ll document more from the wedding day later this week!

Wednesday

We left Starkville around 4pm.  We had a few errands to run in Jackson so we stopped there for dinner and to run our errands.  We were able to meet up with Nick for dinner that night (no pictures!).  Nick and I had just completed our 10 day $35 eating out challenge and this was our last meal before totaling up our costs.  Sad to say, I ended up losing this one and had to pay him a little over $6.  We arrived to Gloster that night and stopped by Jamey’s mom’s so we could help clean up the house.  This story may not be so funny to y’all, but it was HILARIOUS to me (one of those, had to be there things)!  Jamey asked her mom what I could help with because I of course wanted to help (I’m a great bridesmaid y’all).  Her mom is in a frantic trying to clean everything and I think she just felt overwhelmed to seriously think of something to give me… so she threw up this salt & pepper shaker and said, “Here, if these are going to sit out, it needs to at least have salt & pepper in them, she can fill these up”.  So Ladies, that’s what I did… I filled up some Salt & Pepper shakers and my duties were complete!

Thursday
The MOH took me with her on some errands while Jamey went and did some stuff.  I caught up on BB and went for a nice walk outside and showered before we left.  She took me to this amazing restaurant in Natchez and then we were able to site see just a bit.  Have y’all ever read Greg Isles?  He’s a MS author who sets his books in Natchez.  I was excited to see his house because I have read one of his books and it was one of the most intriguing books I’ve ever read!

Friday
Friday we had the Bridesmaid Luncheon and then the Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinner.  The luncheon was beautiful.  We had this delicious trio salad, in true blogger fashion… I forgot to get a picture, but you can obviously see that it was DELICIOUS!  The cookies were from the rehearsal dinner, how cute are they?!

Have a wonderful Monday and be sure to link-up with Ashley and I for Home Town Hop tomorrow!
