For those of you who enjoy the random posts… This is for you!

Good morning loves! Welcome to another episode of my random thoughts post.  For some reason, my random posts seem to be popular.  Never fails, I have someone or many someone’s tell me how much they love reading my randoms… so this post is for you my friend (or friends)!

*Nick and I went to a fun wedding this past weekend in Greenwood, MS.  The reception was at the Cotesworth plantation, which if you’ve read The Help or seen
The Help (Two-Disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo) then that is the place where Celia Foote’s house was filmed.  It was beautiful and old.  The reception was outside with dancing and drinks and christmas lights throughout the trees.  Nick and I snagged one decent picture.  I look hunched over because it was rather chilly…. well, it was friggin cold!  He was a groomsman, so he was dressed impeccably well.  Which reminds me… he needs to return his tux today.

* I leave for Disney tomorrow… TOMORROW!!! Not technically Disney though, I guess I won’t be there until Friday.  I’m driving down to UF to visit my friend David (who I did the College Program with) and he’s taking me and my friends out to eat at a unique place in town, then we’re heading farther south to stay at my friends grandmother’s house.  We’ll be arriving to Disney on Friday though and I can’t wait to get this trip started… on another note though, I’m kind of not wanting to start the trip because I don’t want the trip to end.

* While I’m at Disney, I plan on stopping by Casting to see if they have any jobs open… my job hunt has not been too friendly {I’m willing to go anywhere people, so if you know of a marketing/event coordinating/managing position near you, hook a girl up!).  I continue to feel like I’m just a hair short.  I’m great and everyone loves me, but there is that one person out there who applied with just a little more experience or something… it’s frustrating.

* I caught up on Grey’s Anatomy this morning.  It’s the best.

* I enjoyed coffee and muffins on this lazy morning…. that’s the best too.

* I just filmed a vlog for Meg and I can’t wait for that to appear on her blog while she’s vacationing.  Don’t worry, I’ll be sure to let y’all know about it so you can check it out!  It’s all about blogging advice… so if you think you might learn something, then check it out when she posts it!

* You still have a few days to enter this giveaway by my sweet friend & sponsor, Hillary!

* Did you see my GoPicnic review?  Or watch my cheesy video?  If not, you should check it out because GoPicnic is the bomb.com of lunches!  I’ll be giving 2 away in a few weeks, so make sure you stay tuned!

* I can’t ever seem to stay updated with my bloglovin reads…. all of you are just way too awesome.  I’ve figured it out.

* Did you subscribe to my You Tube Channel?  You really should…. I only have 1 subscriber, it’s pretty sad.  Especially after all my harping… lol

* Also, have you signed up for my mailing list?  It’s really just in case anything happens to my blog, I’ll still be able to reach my readers.  You may get an e-mail once or twice a month with some fabulous content that you won’t find on my blog… so in all seriousness, if you like me at all… you should really subscribe to my mailing list 🙂 You can do so on the left side bar of my blog, right below my picture!

* Today we’re making shirts for our Disney race!  I’m excited.  Our theme is Mulan “Defeat the Run” haha! I love it!  Can’t wait to show y’all the shirts when we’re done.  Also, I checked the weather and the LOW is 70 degrees… talk about perfect!  I brought a pair of running pants just in case, but it looks like I’ll be nice and comfy and free in my running shorts, score!

* End of random post.  Have a fabulous day my friends!

My new favorite lunch! {Go Picnic}

Back in September when I attended Blog Elevated, I had NO idea that I would be introduced to my new favorite lunch item on the market.  If you’ve never heard of or tried Go Picnic, you’re about to thank me a thousand times over!  We were given Go Picnic for lunch one of our days during the conference.  I had no idea what to expect and honestly, I thought it originally seemed like a skimpy little meal and I thought, “How in the world is this going to fill me up!?” “Are they serious…. a little box for lunch today?”  Anyways… regardless of my negative thoughts, I was unexpectedly surprised and excited to discover Go Picnic and fall madly in love with their products!

I had the Tuna and Crackers lunch when I was at Blog Elevated and it was delicious!  They also have great packaging, which really impressed me!

After trying this product, I immediately knew that I wanted to support and work with this company.  Being the fabulous student that I am, I soaked up tons of knowledge on how to approach sponsors and best practices… blah, blah, blah… I learned.  That’s the point.  So I e-mailed them and made my “pitch”, told them that I thought all of you lovely readers would really LOVE to learn about this product because I was so excited to have learned about the product and voila! I’m here to share about another Go Picnic meal I tried.

They sent me the Turkey Pepperoni and Cheese along with the Hummus and Crackers.

Other exciting news: They’ve allowed me to giveaway TWO of their lunches as well. Find out about this below!

The more I read and learned about GoPicnic, the more excited I got to be a part of it and to share it with you!

They have a large number of options for anyone on the go.  I know one big struggle I had when I was trying to go vegan was having something easy and healthy when I was traveling or busy and didn’t quite have time for lunch.  GoPicnic is perfect for just that and I wish I had known about them then.  Do you struggle with finding Gluten Free meals?  I have never had a gluten problem, but I hear people talk about being Gluten free a lot and Go Picnic has great Gluten free meals!

They have a large variety of lunches in vegan, gluten free, all natural, and kosher options.  It’s important to review all the nutritional information before purchasing because they cater to such a wide range of people and special diets!

You can watch my video below on how I used my first GoPicnic meal, the hummus and crackers!  I’ll be sharing a second way to use GoPicnic next week when I try out my Turkey Pepperoni and Cheese meal.  At the end of my second review, you’ll also be able to enter the giveaway to win 2 GoPicnic meals of your choice!

Another great thing I love about Go Picnic is that they are continuously having a TON of discounted items and meals.  Ever since I signed up to receive their newsletter and coupons, I am getting e-mails about great offers they have!  You can find their meals for roughly $3 a meal sometimes and that’s a freakin’ steal!  If you’re interested in trying Go Picnic, but don’t want to wait for the giveaway, then use the discount code below.

PR10 for 10% off Go Picnic!

So tell me, have you heard of or tried GoPicnic?

5 Things I’d rather do than celebrate Halloween… {A Giveaway being one}

I’ve been doing quite a few link-ups around here lately, but I think they’ve all been good fun, so no apologies here.  Just come back next week for non link-up material if you’re tired of this.

Erin isn’t the biggest fan of Halloween and although I have had my share of fun from one Halloween to the next, honestly… it’s not my top choice either (I’m thinking… Thanksgiving, Christmas, and my Birthday rank much higher).  She had some really great alternatives to celebrating Halloween, but I’m certain I can come up with a great list of my own… so here we go!

{1} Eat a Reeses’ or… Have a McAlisters sweet tea
Erin started hers off with food and it only seemed fitting to do the same with mine.  I don’t have a Chipotle and I’ve never eaten at a Chipotle, so I don’t understand her need there, but I love me some reeses and I swoon for McAlisters Sweet Tea.  If I was guaranteed a reeses at every door step or a free sweet tea card (or hey, why not just serve me a glass) then I’d trick or treat circles around all of you!

{2}Play Candy Crush
Yes… it’s addicting… and most days I’m ashamed… other days I’m too lost in it to realize how ashamed I should be!

{3} Go on a Date
Dress up, but not look slutty or gross doing so, enjoy the evening doing something you love with someone you care about and leave with a bunch of happy feelings instead of fear, frustration, and make up that may take days to remove.  Sign me up for that!

{4} Go to Disney World
I’m certain that’s my answer to all of life’s toughest questions… Go to Disney World!  It’s the happiest place on Earth, where you can still celebrate Halloween, but not in such a scary way… because it’s Mickey and friends, and really?  How scary can they be!?

{5} Enter Giveaways
Hey… sure, you get a few pieces of free candy.  And yes, you could calculate the total amount of that candy and figure out how much that’s worth to ya, but what if that time trick or treating was spent entering giveaways with the possibility of winning $100 here or $300 there?  That’s more up my alley.  I may go away with nothing (but that’s less calories and time I need to spend at the gym, amen!), but I could also come away with a lot… see?

Didn’t mean to get y’all riled up, NO, I don’t have a huge sum of cash waiting to be had, but my sweet sponsor Hillary @ A Whole Awful Lot does have some super great gifts for you!  So check her out, follow, like, tweet, whatever!  Get yourself some of this goodness because entering a giveaway is way fun!

A set of adorable coasters

A jar of homemade taco seasoning
(And if you happen to not win, you can always use her special recipe to make your own!)

a Rafflecopter giveaway
