Love and Sweethearts!

I’m so glad I decided to participate in the Sweetheart Swap that Meg and Kristin hosted.  Everything in my package was perfectly tailored to ME!  Maybe Jessica is a great gift gifter, or maybe I’m just unbelievably easy to buy for because I’m pretty good and sharing what I LOVE and the entire world usually knows.

Jessica blogs over at Pretty Physicist and she was a sweetheart {ha Sweetheart Swap}! I enjoyed getting to know her and learning about her love for all things London and the fact that she, too, loves Reese’s (or the peanut butter part anyways)!  — Then again, who doesn’t love Reese’s?  You know what, don’t tell me… I may not want to be your friend!

Here is what Jessica got me!

A Dumbledore’s Army key chain.  Yes, please, I would LOVE to be a part of Dumbledore’s Army!

Also on my keys: Mace, Disney Dopey, Monogrammed ribbon, Korean gift, flashlight, and the obviously – keys!

Deathly Hallows Necklace.  Seriously, LOVE this necklace!  I’m a Harry Potter nerd, late to the party, I know.

Reese’s Hearts.  I kind of KNEW that I’d get Reese’s.  I always know.  It’s sad really that I love this candy so much… I can’t remember a box from a blog friend that didn’t involve Reese’s… seriously, it doesn’t happen in this life!  I’m not complaining though!  These babies are getting me through the work week.  All I need — Reese’s and Water — Fueled up!

And lastly, A Wine Tumbler!! I’ve been wanting one of these for SO LONG!  I’m not even sure how she knew this other than the fact that Jessica is just that amazing!  I can’t wait to break this baby in with some wine!  It was love at first sight, quickly stealing my heart and a kiss!  Yeah, I love wine.
This Valentine’s day is all about LOVE!  That was lame.  Valentine’s Day (no matter which one) is all about Love.  I LOVE all of the gifts I got from sweet Jessica.  I LOVE wine, Reese’s, and Harry Potter.  I LOVE blogging and all the wonderful people I’ve met through blogging.  I LOVE love.  It’s true.  I LOVE the pink and the red and the cuteness all over.
I also LOVE giveaways, not gonna lie, not gonna pretend I don’t.  I love the fact that I can win free stuff just for following a few people who I more than likely find awesome anyways.  So yeah, Victoria Secrets is up for grabs at Helene’s blog – you can check it out… or don’t, more chance for me!
Happy Valentine’s Day and thank you Jessica for the most wonderful Sweetheart Swap Package!

Bliss

Do you ever have those moments in life where you’re overjoyed with something?
It could be a product you just started using with which you fell in love.
It could be an old friend with whom you got to spend quality time.
It could be a new blogger you started following.
It could be a specific moment in time that you wish you could re-live.

I have those moments ALL.THE.TIME!  I get excited about a new product and I want to share it, I spend girls night with some BFFs and I giggle thinking about the memories we made, I start following a new blogger and just wonder where the heck she (or maybe he) has been all my blog life!

Meg and I both had this similar realization one day, so we decided to start a link-up that showcases all of our favorite things – month to month.  It’ll be super fun and super easy.

On the last Wednesday of each month, link-up a post where you share some of your favorite things from the month.  It could be 1 thing, it could be 20 things – It could be a product, a person, or a moment in time. We just want to know about it!

Feel free to grab our button, link-up with us on the last Wednesday of February (the 26th), and have fun!

But wait, maybe you’re a “wanna be” blogger without a blog or maybe you really do find 1,000 favorite things throughout the month and you don’t necessarily want to devote an entire post to all of those things?  Well join in on the fun with Instagram!  We’re using #bloggerbliss to document our favorite things throughout the month, so you should too!

Go ahead and jot down the last Wednesday of the month in that blog editorial calendar that I know you have lying around (or maybe just make a note in your phone… err head?) and come back to link-up your favorite things post while seeing what other bloggers are raving about too!

I willingly chose mushrooms… I’ve gone crazy! *Weekend Review*

This weekend was a good weekend.
The weather was BEAUTIFUL.  The company was EXCELLENT.  My buns are SORE.

Friday night wasn’t much of anything.  I stayed at home and watched TV and did some blogging.  I entered probably way too many giveaways and set myself up to believe that I’ll at least win ONE of the cash pots I entered haha.  I even started making a giveaway spreadsheet with what type of giveaway I entered, the date it ends, and the link back to the giveaway post.

I also decided to start the 30 day squat challenge that I heard about from Michelle.  I started watching CSI:NY last week and it’s nice because I don’t really care about “keeping up” with it, but I like having it on and I can zoom in and out of the show depending on what I’m working on.  It helps get me through my squats right now too!

Saturday, I woke up and all of a sudden bloomed productivity.  I washed some clothes, did more blogging, and went on my first run in a long time.  It was 30 minutes and it was good.  My sisters came into town and we did some shopping.  I purchased 2 new pair of work pants and I love them.  I’m so excited because I’ve been getting way too much use out of my one pair of black pants.  I finally have variety.  We also made tacos for dinner.  I chose mushroom, onion, and bell pepper for my taco filling!

I can’t even explain how much I LOOOOVVVEEE Bell Peppers!

Also, I can’t believe that I WILLINGLY put mushrooms in my taco.  This vegetarian thing… what the what!?

Deliciously saute’d!
We also made cupcakes *shocker*
And I thoroughly enjoyed them… again, *shocker*
Oh yumm…
Can anyone else see what I would look like as a skeleton?!  That’s some pretty serious bone structure!
And well… that was good.  And now it’s gone.  So was another one after that. #noshame
Sunday, I went to church and then went to Whole Foods again.  Nick’s sister joined me, and we planned on partaking in $2 Beignets and Coffee.  They were all sold out so we decided to just do lunch again.  We were hungry, so it made sense.
#bloggerfail because I didn’t take any pictures.  I’ll get better about that with my Whole Foods lunches because I must say, I’ve put together some pretty fabulous plates!  This time I had scalloped potatoes, a salad with chick peas and kidney beans, jalepeno and cheddar tamale, grilled green beans, and tailgate coleslaw.  They had my vegan double chocolate cookies, so I couldn’t resist!
We then took our time perusing the store.  We had a blast dreaming up the products we can’t wait to try!
After Whole Foods, I went on a short bike ride and then did 60 squats.  My bum is on fire!  I’ve been working it off, literally!  Today is luckily my rest day because I could hardly peddle that bike ride on Sunday, I was so sore!
Overall, this weekend was relaxing, yet productive and enjoyable!  I had good food, wonderful company, a good sermon, and actual workouts!
What was your weekend like?
Are you tired of me and my Whole Foods experiences yet?  I can assure you, they’re not over!
What shows do you enjoy “mindlessly” watching while working on other things?
Have a great Monday, sweet friends!
