… to be so exhausted from work that you literally sit in the bed on the computer most of the night
… to choose a nap over a workout (I mean, you’ve worked out consistently the past few weeks!)
… to get paid for 3 hours for zero amount of work (hey, the company told you too!)
… to let your room get messy once in a while
… to miss a show at Disney World with your friends because 1. you were on a 4 mile run training and 2. your here for 7 months, so there will be another!
… to miss your friends and family a lot
… to save all your tips for something awesome
… to be sad about only a 3 dollar tip today
… to be so delirious? I’m guessing, from your 4 mile run yesterday, to have just LEFT your key in the key hole for your roommates to find when they get home (ok, so that is NOT ok.. I felt awful! What was wrong with me?)
… to LOOOVVVEE Orlando because it has the best running atmosphere!
… to not really miss Starkville, the city, AT ALL
… to love Orlando weather, RIGHT NOW, but secretly absolutely dread when the summer gets here (seriously, who else gets 70 degree weather in january and february!?)
So, I was planning on doing a What I’m Wearing Wednesday, but I don’t see a link-up for it… am I crazy? haha I don’t know where I got that from… I’m so confused! But, anyways, I did promise my sister that I would post up my Disney costume TODAY, so here we go!
In case you didn’t know, I’m a Housekeeper at The Boardwalk!
1. Disney World Obviously, since I just got here a few weeks ago, I’m loving me some Disney World. This has already been such a fantastic experience, I feel like I’m on vaca everyday!
2. Mississippi Blues Half-Marathon I think this speaks the heart of Mississippi and a true southerner! haha This was my first half-marathon and it was one of the best things I’ve done for myself, I’m actually signing up for the Disney Princess 1/2 in February!
3. Catfish Alley If you have read The Help, which is another book based in Mississippi and LOVED it, then you have also got to read Catfish Alley. I’m somewhat embarrased that the South was so cruel to the African American culture back in the day, but also proud to have writers who feel the importance of bringing that to light. It breaks my heart reading how African Americans were treated back then, but it also gives me a lot of great perspective!
4. New Balance 626 I just got these shoes this month, I needed some every day shoes since I’d be doing a lot of walking at Disney World. I wasn’t the biggest fan at first, but like always, Nick convinced me to get them and like always, he was right that I would eventually LOVE them… how he does it? I honestly don’t have a clue, it’s rather annoying though!
5. Jergens Natural Glow Revitalizing Lotion Even though I would love to have a fab tan and even though I’m in Florida where it literally is warm enough to lay out in the middle of January, I’m not a fan of skin cancer and I would not be able to forgive myself later if I got skin cancer and could have prevented it so easily. So instead of laying out, I use this stuff, it feels great and it looks great and I love it!!
