My sweet taste of Home!

I had every intention of posting last night… in fact, I had every intention of doing a lot of things last night!  My to-do list consisted of laundry, working out, dishes, cleaning my room, starting to pack, blogging, and some other random stuff.  Then I found out that some old friends from home were in Orlando and were at Magic Kingdom!  I was so happy!  So I was able to fit in a few dishes, my laundry (unfolded), and a workout, then I rushed off to Magic Kingdom to see them!  Blogging fell off the list and I was really excited about what I was planning on writing about, but hey, that can always make it on another day!

It was such a remarkable blessing to have these fabulous people here from back home.  I really do miss home and I’m less than a month away from being done with the College Program and people… I AM SOOO READY!! Counting down the days over here!  They were exactly what I needed to get me through the rest of the month though and they improved my mood so much.  All of them are amazing people inside and out and I love them dearly!  The girls are actually younger sisters of 1 of my best friends and another dear friend that I don’t get to keep in touch with as much anymore, but has always been close to my heart!

Have a wonderful Saturday, I’m off to Magic Kingdom to start crossing of my Disney Bucket List! 🙂

It’s OK Thursday!

Its Ok Thursdays

It’s OKAY…

… to be so happy to be back in the blogging community, it’s been a few months, and I’m starting to get my motivation back!

… to be so exhausted from work and come home to take a 4 hour nap, then not know how I’m going to get to bed tonight

… to be counting down the days to leave Florida

… to have accepted a job that isn’t exactly what I was looking for right out of school

… to take the job based on how much I will enjoy working with the people and how much I will enjoy the type of work that it is over the salary (because honestly… it’s not much!)

… to take a week off of working out because of how tired my body is based on work and how good I’ve  been about keeping up with your workouts while working 60 hours a week

… to be so happy to get back to working out though, but finding it to be a small struggle after the break

… to be completely obsessed with Harry Potter

… to splurge on German Chocolate

… to make a Disney to-do list for my last month here so I can say that I have officially done every attraction at Disney

… to 100% miss my bloggy friends and enjoy catching up in their lives – sorry I’m so behind folks

… to have found some fabulous finds at the Outlets lately (blog post on that soon!)

Happy Thursday!!

Whole Foods Market- my new phenomenon!

There are definitely some advantages to living in a big city, and I MUST say that having a Whole Foods Market is one of them!! Living in Mississippi, I had never been in one nor seen one, so I wanted to see what it was all about!! A friend and I chose to check it out one evening and we were superbly amazed at what all they had! If you’ve never been- when you get the chance, you should definitely check one out!!  Here are some pictures from my first experience!!

Why YES, I would love to build my own granola!
An olive bar?  No, I didn’t realize those existed! haha
Do you see this!? A WINE TASTING BAR!!
I almost passed out when I saw the coffee bean section!
Beautiful cakes and candies there too!

That bread looks so amazing!
Please tell me you see that large $40 cake in the center with the white top…
Because we totally got a free sample, and it was delish!
A section of dried fruits and more!

I had such a fantastic first experience, everyone was so nice and the creativity they have with their food is to die for!  They also had a large buffet with anything and everything you can think of!  It’s fantastic to find such a health conscious store when today you see so much processed food and unhealthy lifestyles.  I can’t say too much thought because I definitely enjoy my not so healthy food items, but seeing a store like this definitely encourages me to make better decisions!

I thought I’d share their values with you:
* Selling the highest quality natural and organic products available*
*Satisfying and delighting our customers*
*Supporting team member happiness and excellence*
*Creating wealth through profits and growth*
*Caring about our communities and our environment*
Creating ongoing win-win partnerships with our suppliers*
*Promoting the health of our stakeholders through healthy eating education*
Do you have a Whole Foods Market in your area? How often do you go? What are your thoughts on their items compared with their prices?
