Let’s try something new this season! :)
Pumpkin… I’ve never tried nor thought I’d ever LIKE Pumpkin….
This season, I decided that I would at least give it a shot! Friends always ask me if I like pumpkin… and I say NO! Even though, I’ve NEVER tried it really…
So… here’s the scoop:
Last week, a girl brought pumpkin cookies to class and offered, so I tried. It was good!
This past weekend, I went out on a limb (a limb I’ve been scared to go on because I don’t like wasting money and coffee is too important to me to waste it on something I won’t like) and I got a pumpkin white mocha while meeting with friends… and YUM!
Then… TODAY… I chose to go for round 3! And I ordered a pumpkin loaf cake with my starbucks order… needless to say… IM SOLD!
Pumpkin, if you haven’t tried it, has this refreshing after taste, honestly that’s the best way I can describe it. My tongue feels like it’s been cleansed and is so refreshed!
What are you going to try this FALL season that You’ve been scared to try before, or that you never even thought to try before?? Mine was pumpkin… and I think Im accomplished, because now I have a new fav! ๐
HAPPY FALL YA’LL!
Making it to the finish line!
Lets see… when and where is my finish line right now?
Everyone has goals, somewhere they’d like to see themselves, something they’d like to accomplish. What is mine? My “finish line” is January 7th at the end of the Mississippi Blues Half Marathon! I just started real training (before, I was pretending to train, then had to actually fess up and start training!) I’m excited. This will be my FIRST 1/2 marathon! So many obstacles stand in my way, isn’t that how it is with ANY goal? Obviously, the biggest obstacle is the HOLIDAY SEASON! Oh, how I am super excited! I’m going to be tempted and tormented by mountains of candy, but I think I can manage and control myself. I’ll give you an update on how that goes! ๐
Soo…. My new ERIN CONDREN planner just shipped out today, pictures posted soon!!! ๐ I thought about this because of my comment about the HOLIDAY SEASON! This year, as a thank you and token of appreciation to all those who have made my college career the very best it could be, I’m making little happies! I have this recipe from GoodHousekeeping magazine for chocolate pecan clusters! (THEY ARE DELICIOUS!) I’m going to box 10 or so up and pass them out, but what I’m super excited about are the adorable EC holiday gift labels I’m going to use to put my name on them!
There are so many things going on this semester, you don’t want to miss out! ๐ I’ll be posting about my experience training for this 1/2 marathon!! Hopefully it will inspire someone else to get off the couch and train too!! ๐ Just a happy thought!
Heather
