I willingly chose mushrooms… I’ve gone crazy! *Weekend Review*

This weekend was a good weekend.
The weather was BEAUTIFUL.  The company was EXCELLENT.  My buns are SORE.

Friday night wasn’t much of anything.  I stayed at home and watched TV and did some blogging.  I entered probably way too many giveaways and set myself up to believe that I’ll at least win ONE of the cash pots I entered haha.  I even started making a giveaway spreadsheet with what type of giveaway I entered, the date it ends, and the link back to the giveaway post.

I also decided to start the 30 day squat challenge that I heard about from Michelle.  I started watching CSI:NY last week and it’s nice because I don’t really care about “keeping up” with it, but I like having it on and I can zoom in and out of the show depending on what I’m working on.  It helps get me through my squats right now too!

Saturday, I woke up and all of a sudden bloomed productivity.  I washed some clothes, did more blogging, and went on my first run in a long time.  It was 30 minutes and it was good.  My sisters came into town and we did some shopping.  I purchased 2 new pair of work pants and I love them.  I’m so excited because I’ve been getting way too much use out of my one pair of black pants.  I finally have variety.  We also made tacos for dinner.  I chose mushroom, onion, and bell pepper for my taco filling!

I can’t even explain how much I LOOOOVVVEEE Bell Peppers!

Also, I can’t believe that I WILLINGLY put mushrooms in my taco.  This vegetarian thing… what the what!?

Deliciously saute’d!
We also made cupcakes *shocker*
And I thoroughly enjoyed them… again, *shocker*
Oh yumm…
Can anyone else see what I would look like as a skeleton?!  That’s some pretty serious bone structure!
And well… that was good.  And now it’s gone.  So was another one after that. #noshame
Sunday, I went to church and then went to Whole Foods again.  Nick’s sister joined me, and we planned on partaking in $2 Beignets and Coffee.  They were all sold out so we decided to just do lunch again.  We were hungry, so it made sense.
#bloggerfail because I didn’t take any pictures.  I’ll get better about that with my Whole Foods lunches because I must say, I’ve put together some pretty fabulous plates!  This time I had scalloped potatoes, a salad with chick peas and kidney beans, jalepeno and cheddar tamale, grilled green beans, and tailgate coleslaw.  They had my vegan double chocolate cookies, so I couldn’t resist!
We then took our time perusing the store.  We had a blast dreaming up the products we can’t wait to try!
After Whole Foods, I went on a short bike ride and then did 60 squats.  My bum is on fire!  I’ve been working it off, literally!  Today is luckily my rest day because I could hardly peddle that bike ride on Sunday, I was so sore!
Overall, this weekend was relaxing, yet productive and enjoyable!  I had good food, wonderful company, a good sermon, and actual workouts!
What was your weekend like?
Are you tired of me and my Whole Foods experiences yet?  I can assure you, they’re not over!
What shows do you enjoy “mindlessly” watching while working on other things?
Have a great Monday, sweet friends!

Lunch at Whole Foods is my favorite! Their fresh edamame they have near their sushi selection is just down right delish! You should try it sometime ๐Ÿ™‚

I am always watching something when I’m being productive just because I like the background noise. This weekend I got hooked on #richkids of Beverly Hills. Someone on a blog was talking about it, so I looked it up on hulu and I’m not hooked persay but it makes the Kardashians look like great people!
