Lacking motivation

Hello friends! I feel like I’ve been missing a lot lately.  My posts are somewhat lacking pictures this week as well.  Sorry guys, maybe I’ll find more motivation next week!  Until then, here is a quick update and just some randomness going on.

I still haven’t read any blogs… it’s been about an entire week.  I feel bad, but then again, I don’t.  I’m sure I’ll eventually get to it… I just haven’t been motivated.

I have a nice part time job for the Holidays.  It can be stressful at times, but for the most part I’m really enjoying it.  It keeps me busy though… I don’t have the time I use to have.  I’m also picking up random work here and there.  I’m so thankful for the work, but after no schedule for a few months, it’s an adjustment now lol.

I’ve been neglecting the basics lately.  I need to still unpack from Thanksgiving, I need to clean my room (something terribly), and I also need to do laundry (again… terribly!).  I also need to go to the post office and purchase some new running shoes.

I need to wash my hair.  I decided to try this whole “don’t wash my hair for 3-4 days thing” because apparently it is better for your hair and makes it longer.  I’ve been trying to grow my hair out.  Now washing hair is more like a task I need to check off my list.  It’s about that time.  On the note of beauty, I haven’t painted my toenails since August probably… I also haven’t taken any polish off, so my feet are looking awful!  Another thing on my list that needs checked off.

My feet hurt.  This new job has my standing all day long.  I just went and purchased some new shoes for work though and I’m very much in love with them!! I got a pair of black shoes and brown shoes at DSW in the clearance section for a total of $30.00!!!  It was the greatest deal!  They are rubbing blisters right now though, so my feet hurt.

So what about that Disney Video I promised??  Yeah, it’s still in the making.  I think my computer is slowing down from all the video footage I’m saving on it.  I seriously need an external hard drive for all of this!  Because my computer is slow, it annoys me when I’m working on the video editing software, so it’s going a little slower than I’d like.

And lastly…. I’d like to ask that y’all continue to pray for me and my job hunt.  The part time work is wonderful and it’s giving me some extra spending money while I’m living with my parents, but every day that passes, makes my desire for a real career grow.  I’m still applying for jobs, but now with the part time work, my time is lessened for that, so I have to make a conscious effort to apply for new jobs because sometimes I’m just too worn out from work to care about applying.  Some days are tougher than others and although I’m extremely thankful for my parents and all the support they’ve provided, I desperately want my own place.  A place to call home, a place to create and experiment for myself and my blog, a place to work for myself and for others, a place to cook and bake, a place to decorate.  I steadily have opportunities, but they continue to flop.  I have to continue believing that every flop brings me one step closer to the right place for me.  Anyways, your prayers are so appreciated!
